It is important that you have registered with wordpress.com first using your neo email account. You also need to send us an email using your neo account. This is how we make sure you are a TAMU student.
Step by Step instructions after registration.
1.) Once you have registered with wordpress and have sent us an email asking for permission to use the blog, go to the login page and login using your username and password.
2) You should now see the main wordpress news page. To the top right you should see your username displayed along with any blogs you have permission to access. It should look like this.
3.) You should click on the tamustudyabroad blog listed under your username. This is the screen you should see next.
4.) Click on the write option on the light blue tool bar.
5.) Once you click on the write button in the tool bar, a new submenu option bar (darker blue) displays below the light blue bar. You should notice that your screen now has a white box for writing in. This is where you can start typing your post.
6.) Please make sure that you select the country on the categories side bar to which your post belongs.
7.) After you click save, you are all done! Be sure though that you only click save after you are done typing and editing everything in your post because you cannot go back to edit it after you click the “Save” button. If you would like to post images, you can send us the images via email. You can write text in the place where you would like your picture to go. Example: “Image 1 here.” Later we will add the photos to your post. If you know how to post a picture using a link to another website, like a photoalbum website, you are welcome to do that too.
Your post will not be immediately viewable because the administrators will need to confirm it first before it gets published to the blog.
